ADA & WAYFINDING SIGNS
ADA-Compliant & Wayfinding Signs in Houston
Code-compliant tactile, braille, and wayfinding signage that keeps Houston buildings compliant and easy to navigate.
WHAT ARE ADA & WAYFINDING SIGNS?
ADA and wayfinding signage does two things at once: it keeps your building compliant, and it moves people through it without confusion. Getting it right means meeting the ADA’s rules for tactile characters, braille, contrast, and mounting, while still matching your brand.
4D SignWorx designs and installs compliant, good-looking wayfinding and ADA programs for Houston offices, medical facilities, and multi-tenant buildings, all to the same in-house standard we’ve held since 1968.

WHY 4D SIGNWORX
Compliant, and on brand
Compliance is non-negotiable, but ADA signage doesn’t have to look institutional. We build to the current ADA standards for tactile copy, braille, non-glare finishes, and contrast, then design within those rules to match your interior. For campuses and multi-tenant properties, we plan the whole wayfinding system so it’s consistent and easy to follow.

Where ADA & wayfinding signs work best
One coordinated program per building or campus.
ADA and wayfinding signage is required almost everywhere the public goes, and it’s most valuable where people have to find their way. We plan and build complete programs for Houston medical facilities and multi-tenant buildings, coordinating suite IDs, directories, and egress signage so the whole system reads consistently and passes inspection.
Medical & healthcare
Suite IDs, restroom and egress signage, and corridor wayfinding built to the current ADA standard for clinics and medical office buildings.
Multi-tenant offices
Lobby directories, tenant suite IDs, and floor wayfinding planned as one consistent, easy-to-follow system.
Shopping centers
Site wayfinding, accessible-parking signage, and tenant directories that guide visitors across the property.
Industrial & warehouse
Occupancy, egress, and required room-ID signage built to code for warehouse and light-industrial facilities.
Interior programs
ADA and wayfinding coordinated with lobby logos and environmental graphics under one project manager.
Parking & site circulation
Accessible parking, entrance, and directional signage that makes a site navigable and compliant.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS
How much do ADA & wayfinding signs cost in Houston?
ADA and wayfinding cost scales with sign count, the mix of ID versus directional signage, and finish level. A single restroom ID is inexpensive, while a full multi-tenant or campus program is a larger, planned project. Because a compliant program is priced as a set, we map exactly what your building needs and quote it firm after a walkthrough. For ballpark ranges across sign types, see our sign cost guide.
What makes a sign ADA-compliant?
Requirements include raised (tactile) characters, Grade 2 braille, specific character sizes and contrast, non-glare finishes, and correct mounting location and height. We build to the current standard.
Which signs have to be ADA-compliant?
Permanent room and space identification (restrooms, suites, exits, and similar). Directional and informational signs have their own rules. We’ll map exactly what your building needs.
Do you provide braille?
Yes, Grade 2 braille and tactile characters are standard on our ADA ID signs.
Can ADA signage match our brand?
Yes, we design within the compliance rules to fit your colors and finishes.
Planning a full sign program?
Most properties need more than one. See the other sign types we design, build, and install for Houston businesses.
